MEQUON: A CITY OF RESTAURANTS

For years, I have heard people say Mequon could use more restaurants. Geck, I have said that also.

However, Mequon actually has a lot of restaurants for a city its size.

Here is a list I put together of places where you can eat in Mequon (ignoring the two private country clubs):

1.      Café 1505

2.      Café Hollander

3.      Chancery Pub & Restaurant

4.      China Buffet

5.      Colectivo Coffee

6.      Crave

7.      Culver’s

8.      Dairy Queen

9.      Donges Bay Clubhouse

10.  Edge of Town

11.  Einstein Bros Bagels

12.  Ferrante’s

14.  Finn McGoo’s

15.  First Watch

16.  Harvey’s Central Grill

17.  Highland House

18.  Hong Anh Palace

19.  Jimmy Johns

20.  Jodi’s 19th Tee at Mee-kwon Park

21.  Joey Gerard’s Mequon

22.  Landmark

23.  Leonardo’s Pizza Parlour

24.  Libby Montana

40.  Taco Bell

41.  The Fox Den

42.  Vietnamese Noodles

43.  Wooden Goose Café

44.  Zaffiro’s

45.  Zarletti

Note that about 75% of these places are not national chains.

Additionally, Thiensville has another 10 places:

1.      Cheel, The

2.      Chuck’s Place

3.      Cousin’s

4.      Downtown Pizza

5.      East Sun Chinese Restaurant

6.      Falafel Guys

7.      Fiddleheads

8.      Prime Minister Family Restaurant

9.      Remington’s River Inn

10.  Skippy’s Sports Pub

You might not like them all, but that is an impressive list. Taking into consideration both Mequon and Thiensville, there are 55 places to eat for about 27,000 people.  And there are two or three more planned for the Town Center.
